Dominic Pipkin is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Pinole, CA who attends Pinole Valley HS. Tall very slender build. Slow paced delivery, full and quick arm action, tight high 3/4's arm slot. Steady low 90's fastball, topped out at 93 mph, low effort velocity with more to come, works the bottom of the zone well and gets ground balls. Tends to slow arm and shorten the arch on his secondary pitches and especially his curveball. May throw very hard one day, development of secondary pitches will be key. Good student, verbal commitment to California.
