Luke Presko is a 2023 MIF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Weatherby Lake, MO who attends St. Pius X. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 7.47 runner in the sixty. Was light on his feet in the infield on defense, worked around the ball well and put his hands in good position to field the ball, long over the top arm action with some carry to his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and slightly open stance with a high hand load, line drive swing approach, swings hard and with intent, good lower half weight shift to help create bat speed, squared up the ball well with some jump off the barrel. Also pitched, side step delivery with some hip turn over the rubber, short and quick arm action, some energy at release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets both good sink and cut depending on location and intent. Slider was a good pitch with tight spin and sweeping depth. Threw strikes with both pitches. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
