Jacob Marcos is a 2018 OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Miami, FL. Medium frame with slender, athletic build, projects well physically and has room/time to continue filling out. Right handed hitter, slightly open stance. Leg lift trigger, good weight shift into contact, maintains good balance and rhythm in swing. Solid bat speed and hand quickness with fluidity, ability to get extended. Line-drive swing plane with natural loft and some carry off of the barrel. Projects well offensively, has good hitting tools and feel for repeating swing, handling the barrel. Worked out in the outfield, attacks the ball well, can get a bit out of control. Arm works well, quick through the backside with a clean release. Could get better aligned to target with lower half but shows good arm speed, arm strength, measured at up to 84 mph in defensive drills. Ran a 7.24 second 60-yard dash.
