Jack Silder is a 2019 1B/3B, RHP with a 6-3 235 lb. frame from Potomac, MD who attends Dematha Catholic HS. Recorded a 7.84 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large with a very physical and strong overall build. Primary first baseman who turns well and throws from a sidearm slot. Soft hands and fields the ball well cleanly. Secondary third baseman whose hands work with pretty glove side mechanics. Fluidity to motion and feel for the position. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a full and online arm swing. Small rocker step into a leg lift at the belt and threw from a higher three-quarter arm slot. Lands online toward the plate with some restriction. Mixed in 12/6 curveball with short break to it. Repeats delivery well and throws strikes consistently. Left-handed hitter with a slightly open stance and a wide base. Deeper hand load with a big leg lift trigger into contact. Hands and lower half is in sync well. Can drive the ball well to all fields from a naturally lofted swing. Solid power projection to all fields that played well during games. Great student.
