Primarily uses a mid-field approach but shows ability to clear hips and hit fastballs hard on the inside half of plate. Ball comes of barrel well when balanced through swing. Tends to hit off a tall front side at times. Worked out defensively from the infield showing a full arm action with quickness, topped at 81 mph across the infield. Shows fluidity and range to both sides with solid glove skills while surrounding and funneling the baseball. Comes through backhands well with solid online direction into throws. On the mound shows a large hip coil at balance point and uncoils well to an on line plane while driving to the plate. Fastball has solid life topping at 82 mph. Big breaking 12/6 curveball with big depth at 64 mph. Tends to open front side with change-up that shows some tumbling action at 69 mph. Hides ball well through delivery with deception due to moving part in arm and legs. Listed as a primary shortstop but graded better as a right handed pitcher at this event. Excellent student as well.
