David Shriner is a 2021 C/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Johns Creek, GA who attends Northview. Flashed a large to extra large frame with a lean, slender build. Long limbs showing room to fill in the future. Ran a 7.32 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher with a slight side saddle. Sits back on throws with a long arm action and over the top arm slot. Many moving parts. Raw mechanics. Secondary Righthanded pitcher showing a slow tempo with good rhythm. Releasing from a high three-quarter arm slot with a clean, loose arm. Showing command for both pitches. Pitching to contact as he filled up the zone. Fastball topping out at 76 mph with a 12/6 curveball showing depth and tight spin. Advanced feel for curveball. Secondary Thirdbaseman showing some range at times. Smooth actions with the glove showing a clean gather. Accurate around the bag with throws starting to show carry across the diamond. Righthanded hitter starting from a slightly open stance with high hands. Slight leg kick and then puts it back down. Little to no weight load. Linear swing path looking to attack the top half of the baseball. Gets extended at times showing a middle to pull side approach. Good Student.
