Patrick Connor is a 2018 SS/2B/RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Dardenne Prairie, MO who attends Ft. Zumwalt West HS. Connor has an athletic build with a lean frame and room to fill out and add strength. Hits from a slightly open stance spread stance. Compact line drive plane with natural lift. Creates good torque in in body. Gets hips through contact with good leverage from lower half. Shows solid bat speed and pull side power potential. Controlled barrel well and squared up ball well. Defensively, loose smooth actions with solid glove actions and feel for fielding. Has clean transfer and release with carry and accuracy. Also pitched, high 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm action. Attacks zone with fastball that was up to 83. Stays online to plate with repeatable mechanics. Showed feel for slider that flashed sharpness. Named to Top Prospect List.
