Matthew Brown is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight spread stance, rotational swing with an uphill swing plane and plenty of extension, has the strength to drive the ball, was consistent in his load and timing. 7.48 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, aggressive to the ball, tends to slow his momentum into his throws with a big crow hop, high effort thrower who creates some carry. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
