Hayden Sottile is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter. Ran a 7.69 second sixty, Primary third baseman with a medium build. Fields the ball out front with confidence in the glove actions, the feet stay active through the ball carrying his momentum into the throws with above average arm strength across to first base. The quickness in the arm translates well to the mound throwing from a high three-quarters arm slot while filling up the zone consistently with the fastball topping out at 84 mph. Showed feel for the slider with consistent hand speed landing it in the 70-72 mph range at the bottom of the zone. Showed a changeup as the third offering in the low 70's. Right-handed hitter, showed consistent middle of the field contact with the bat path working to the inside part of the ball with most of the power coming from the lower half. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
