Reid Harvey is a 2023 UT/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Ochlocknee, GA who attends Thomas County Central. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and long limbs, projectable frame with room to fill. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Stays low on the charge in the infield and works through the ball, shorter steps moving towards the ball, effort on throws across with present arm strength and carry to first base. Graded out best in the outfield in this look, attacks the ball well, shows a fast arm and ball comes out well, repeats actions and shows athleticism, made nice running catch in center field just in front of wall in live action. Also pitched, leg lift up to core at top of delivery, works to a high three-quarters release point; up-tempo release with intent, fastball topped out at 87 mph with nice running life through the zone and extension out front. Developing curveball with short depth up to 72 mph, landed for strikes. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide and slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; long swing path through the zone, incorporates physical strength into contact. Full finish through the point of contact, showed some lift to path with carry to pull side when squared, moving parts to swing and occasionally gets to front early. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
