Will Holmes is a 2021 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Inman, SC who attends Boiling Springs. Large frame with physical, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.54 seconds. Impressed with the bat, hits from slightly open stance with hands set tight, torques hips and lets the barrel rip, quality bat speed with controlled violence to swing, impacts the ball pull-side with power and jump off, drove the ball in game as well, very good hitting tools. Worked out at first base, footwork is solid, fields cleanly and shows athleticism, clocked up to 81 mph. Also pitched and graded out well, fast arm, three quarters slot with angle, lands slightly collapsed but online and downhill, fastball worked 84-87 mph with good carry through the zone, slider has frisbee action with good sharpness, really dominant in his time on the mound. Good two-way prospect. Named to 2019 Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List, good student.
