Preston Havenor is a 2021 C/1B/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Grand Oaks. Long and tall athletic build, long limbs, lots of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, has a good shift into contact from a quiet load with a wrapped barrel start, has quick fast hands and creates nice barrel whip through the zone, was well timed and hit behind the ball with strength at contact, gap to gap line drive approach with the bat speed and leverage to get carry with more to come as he fills out and gets stronger. 6.89 runner, is athletic and quick behind the plate for his size, moves well side to side, strong arm with carry when on top of the tall, showed a tendency to drop his slot at times,makes very accurate throws and will throw runners out, will have to always work against getting too long in his actions due to his length but has the athleticism to do this. Undoubtedly has the ability to play multiple positions around the field well should he continue to grow. Excellent student. Named to the National Underclass South Top Prospect List.
