Kameron Laskowski is a 2019 C/ with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Sussex, WI who attends Hamilton. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional size while maintaining athleticism. Primary catcher with a slightly side set stance while setting up to receive the baseball. Gains ground to the bag while working out of crouch with an extended stride. Loose, clean exchanges while working through transition and released from a compact arm slot. Throws produced accurate on line carry to the bag topping at 76 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 1.93. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Lower half launches to contact with rotational actions creating occasional shift. Hands load to a high position prior to working to baseball on a loose, extended path that generated a line drive plane through extension. Swings with intent to drive the baseball and flashed good bat speed primarily utilizing a mid-field approach. Stays balanced throughout swing and has to ability to repeat swing mechanics and barrel path. Very good student as well.
