Parker Ryan is a 2021 C/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Madison, MS who attends Jackson Academy. Medium frame with physical build and some present athleticism. Recorded a 6.98 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a solid defensive skill set, soft receiving hands and present arm strength. Starts from a high set, gaining ground towards his target with slightly segmented footwork and online, accurate throws recorded up to 78 miles per hour. Left-handed hitter that hits from a fairly simple operation with well-timed lower half mechanics and short inside hand path. Pull-side approach with developing feel for the barrel and present strength through contact. Will continue to improve with slight refinement of overall swing mechanics and consistent timing.
