Ryan Cooper is a 2022 2B/IF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends North Cobb Christian. Slender young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with good lower half actions into his swing, still hands start with good hand quickness, gets extended out front well with a line drive swing plane, showed an accurate barrel and solid hand/eye coordination, has a feel for hitting and will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. 7.48 runner in the sixty. Has quick feet on defense in the middle infield and works behind the ball very well, has smooth and fluid actions and fields the ball cleanly out front, some arm strength and carry especially for a young primary second baseman. Good young athlete who has strong fundamentals and feel, will continue to improve with additional strength. Good student.
