Adrian Bundy is a 2021 C with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Florence, SC who attends West Florence High School. Young, projectable frame with square shoulders and a lean frame with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary catcher, compact set behind the plate, receives the ball out front and frames pitches well, quick transfer with an extra step while gaining ground into release, could get additional drive from back side, tight release with arm strength which will continue to develop moving forward. Short steps moving towards the ball in the infield, sound fundamentals and fields the ball out front, comes through the back hand, shorter arm stroke through the back and at release, gets on top of throws. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Lowers hands at start of swing and utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Uses hands well in swing, linear swing path through the zone and shows a feel for the barrel with developing strength, keeps hands in throughout, works the middle and opposite parts of the field.
