Jackson Dyer is a 2020 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Gainesville, GA who attends North Hall. Nice young athletic build with lotes of room to get stronger. Very balanced delivery, varies his arm slot, either straight over the top of side arm, usually drops down only when he's ahead in the count. Over the top delivery is sound and he works well over his front side, fastball tops out at 82 mph with some running action, commands his fastball well, side arm fastball is softer with bigger run. Gets tight spin on his curveball from over the top with some downer break, still developing command of curveball. Showed very athletic actions at first base on defense with quick feet and balance. Left handed hitter, has an upper body rotational swing with an early front side, has some bat speed when he hits the ball out front, line drive swing plane. Excellent student.
