Joshua Marcellus is a 2020 OF/MIF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Rowlett, TX who attends Sachse HS. Medium build with some present strength and room for more. 7.15 runner, aggressive to the ball in the outfield, tends to slow his momentum before he throws, can improve raw arm strength with better footwork, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, aggressive approach at the plate, has a loose swing and creates some bat speed, can get too oriented on the opposite field, best swings are when he's attacking the ball and turning the barrel, flashed some power with good back spin.
