Zackary Johnson is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends Bob Jones. Ran a 7.46 second sixty. Primary catcher with a medium lean build. Receives the ball out front behind the plate falling into the footwork as he gains ground into the throws showing some arm strength while recording a 2.03 second pop time. Does a nice job working around the ball with developing foot speed as he gets to the spot. The glove plays out front before moving into the throws with a long arm action showing average arm strength across. Starts off-set on the mound with clean mechanics through the delivery showing the same short arm action as the fastball topped out at 80 mph while living in the upper 70''s with spin rates in the 1900 RPM range. Rounded out a three pitch mix with a fading changeup and a curveball that showed some sweeping depth though the hitting zone. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base and upright stance. The bat path works down hill through the zone with flashes of bat speed getting to extension out front at his best and impacting the ball hard to the pull side with a slight weight shift into contact. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
