Kaden Johnson is a 2020 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Colleyville, TX who attends Colleyville Heritage HS. Young athletic build with lots of physical projection. 6.91 runner, moves well on defense both in the infield and outfield and shows his athleticism going to the ball, stays low and balanced moving through the ball, funnels well with soft hands, developing arm strength with a long arm action at present. Should develop into a solid defender either in the middle infield or in centerfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced base with a smooth rotational swing, gets his lower half involved well and shows some bat speed, showed the ability drive the ball hard into the gaps and take the extra base. Also pitched, long arm action and hitters see the ball well. Fastball topped out at 78 mph and was mostly straight, relied heavily on a short slider he landed for strikes consistently. Very good student.
