Harrison Rossi is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Trinity, FL who attends East Lake HS. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Ran a 7.21 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves to the ball well with fundamental footwork. Maintains momentum while working through transition into throw. Flashed solid arm whip that generated good carry to the bag with accuracy, topped at 78 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with a spread, even stance. Stays behind contact with a rotational lower half. Primarily used a mid-field approach paired with a naturally lifted swing plane that created consistent line drive contact between the outfield gaps. Flashed the ability to turn the barrel to pull side at times, power potential will continue to develop with future physical development. Also pitched showing a large rock step delivery to waist high leg kick. Gathers well at balance point and stays tall on backside. Uses lower half well while striding to the plate and lands at a slightly closed position on front side. Releases from an extended three-quarters arm with a fastball offering that has good life through the zone. Also showed a curveball with 9/4 shape with good sweep and depth. Maintains arm speed with curveball offering that matches arm speed of fastball. Effectively changed speed with both pitches and kept each pitch located down in the zone. Tools will continue to develop with physical maturity and repetition. Very good student as well.
