Alex Berndlmaier is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from Cedar Park, TX who attends Vista Ridge. Recorded a 6.61 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with medium frame and solid build. Moves well through the ball with a crow-hop and long arm action on throws to the bases at 85 mph. Arm strength plays at secondary positions middle infield, with a shorter arm action on throws across the diamond at 80 mph. Right-handed hitter with even base and flat barrel start off back shoulder. Front leg kick trigger with high back elbow to get separation and hands into slot. Barrel slot and swing path work to middle and opposite field with high back elbow launch and uphill plane through zone. Tremendous student. Named to the WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
