Bryan Cluck is a 2021 1B/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Nolensville HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball close to body, short steps moving towards the ball, extra step into release, short arm action through the back and tight release close to ear, arm strength on throws will continue to develop. Similar arm action and release on throws from the outfield, fields the ball out front, short and quick steps to the ball, works through it well with lower half, longer release. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, lowers hands at start of swing. Uses a leg lift trigger for timing, stays short and compact to the ball and gets the barrel through the zone. Comfort working pull side, linear swing path with contact oriented approach, hits the ball out front and uses hands well. Very good student.
