Adam Plouffe is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends St. Michael's College. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.52 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, gained ground well into throws with a quick release and arm, short arm action, and impressive carry to the bag. Showed big time arm strength up to 89 mph and it played in game, throwing a pair of runners out from right field. At the plate, started with a slightly open stance, medium hand set, high back elbow, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Line drive swing plane, good torque through lower half, with a deeper hand load. Developing bat speed with the ability to time barrel release and a longer swing through the zone. Length of swing will determine success at the plate.
