Chandler Hicks is a 2021 OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Covington, GA who attends Alcovy. Large frame with a physical type build showing broad shoulders and a sturdy lower half. Ran a 7.03 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure he takes an efficient route to the baseball. Gathers to the side and then carries weight well into throws. Short, quick arm action as he threw it 86 mph during drills with accurate throws to the bag. Right-Handed Hitter, starting in an upright and slightly open stance. Little to no weight transfer upon separation as he utilized a linear swing path. Proved he could backspin the baseball and drive it deep with ease. Proving to be a power bat already and projects as one down the road. Great Student.
