Alex Gulino is a 2021 C/1B with a 5-11 220 lb. frame from Ashburn, VA who attends Georgetown Day. Bigger build with plenty of present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a busy hand load that can leave his timing off at times, gets out to his front side well, works the middle of the field with line drive contact, can develop more strength in his swing with more lower half load and use. 8.15 runner, plays both catcher and first base on defense, has good fundamentals and footwork at both positions and makes accurate throws with developing arm strength, key to further defensive development will be to continue to work hard on his lower half agility and quickness.
