Roger "Eben" Heine is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Plainfield, IL who attends Plainfield North HS. Young athletic build, projects well physically. Two-way prospect who graded out better as a pitcher at this event. 7.13 runner, attacks the ball in the outfield with good footwork and transfers, shows very nice raw arm strength and makes strong accurate throws. Right handed hitter, upright straight stance with a leg lift trigger, line drive swing plane with good bat speed and enough strength get the ball to jump, loose and extended out front, best swings when working the middle of the field. Big side step and leg lift delivery with a deep arm action in back, can simplify delivery mechanics, will overstride out front at times and get off balance. Fastball topped out at 86 mph, works in low in the strike zone well. Shows feel for his slider with good tightness, tended to slow his arm on his change up and guide it. Projects well in all areas of the game.
