Tyler Gesek is a 2021 SS with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends The Bolles HS. Slender and tall young build, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight leg stance, aggressive upper body swing, tends to cast the barrel out at times but has flexibility in his swing and can make adjustments, line drive swing plane, projects well as a hitter. 7.10 runner, gets good reads on the bases. Showed good range on defense, stays low through the ball with soft hands and an easy funnel, arm strength is still developing and best suited for second base at present. Young athlete who will keep improving as he gets stronger.
