Hunter Fornari is a 2018 SS/2B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Ponce Inlet, FL who attends Spruce Creek. Medium frame with slender present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.13 seconds. Sets up to hit from open stance with leg lift trigger, does a good job engaging lower half into swing, has looseness in hands and shows good bat speed as well, worked to all fields on a line and made some hard contact throughout the round. Worked out defensively in the infield, swivels hips well to line up the ball, clean hands at the ball with good actions working through, quick transfer, showed very good arm strength across the diamond with throws clocked up to 86 mph across the diamond. Named to 2017 Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List, very good student. Committed to College of Charleston.
