Kyle Dwyer is a 2019 OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Newton, MA who attends Salisbury High School. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 5.10 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front, long strides to the ball, utilizes a crow hop to generate momentum, full arm action through the back and creates extension out front, works through the ball, front side opens early at release, shows carry on throws out of hand. Lefthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Uses a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate, steps into contact with front side and does a nice job of getting the barrel out front. Stays short to the ball and through the zone, creates extension and shows lift at point of contact, looks to pull the ball, shows offensive tools to build upon moving forward. Very good student.
