Projects for additional size and strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.25 sixty yard dash. Primary shortstop, smooth paced footwork while surrounding and working through baseball. Clean glove while working through groundballs out front and back hand. Creates solid momentum while working to the bag and releases with a slight recoil. Very quick exchanges with clean transfers. Creates good momentum to the bag while working out of crouch with smooth footwork. Gets rid of baseball quickly from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Topped at 77 mph from behind the plate with a best workout pop time of 1.92. Throws produced good on line carry to the bag with accuracy. Graded higher as a catching prospect at this event. Right handed hitter with an upright, straight stance. Hands load to a deep, strong position with slight wrap. Launches hands on a direct, compact path creating a line drive plane through extension. Looks to lift the baseball to the gaps showing some tilt on back side at contact. Flashed bat speed through the zone when turning the barrel to the pull side gap. Simple, repeatable swing mechanics. Will continue to develop on both sides of the ball with physical maturity and repetition. Very good student as well.
