Peyton Sower is a 2020 1B/LHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Union Grove. Large and strong frame. Ran a 7.60 second 60 yard dash. Primary first baseman, worked out at the position fielding the ball out in front, smooth hands with a clean transfer, glove pumps into his release, has arm strength to his target and clean footwork into his turns to second base. Secondary lefthanded pitcher, graded out best on the mound, starts his delivery with a short side step up to a high leg lift, takes his arm back to a clean arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, lands slightly closed off and works out over his front side, fastball topped out at 83 mph and generates plane when down int he zone, heater flashes armside life, mixes in a developing curveball and an effective sinking changeup, projects well on the mound with additional reps. Lefthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a square stance and a high hand set, takes a large stride into contact, weight sits on his backside, quiet hand load and a simple swing, present jump with line drives to both gaps.
