Spencer Margulis is a 2019 OF/IF, C with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Lincroft, NJ who attends St. John Vianney. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.89 seconds. Hits from upright, narrow-based stance, raises high elbow back into load, incomplete lower half shift into contact, upper body oriented swing, has strength in hands, line drive swing plane, smaller leg lift trigger, leverage to swing off of front side, shows good hitting tools overall with some power. Worked out in the outfield, attacks the ball well with good direction, comes in, fields cleanly and gets over front side, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Very good student.
