Daniel Glenn is a 2020 3B/RHP, MIF with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Casteel. Medium frame with long limbs and lean build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Ran a 7.36 sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman with smooth paced actions while ranging for and working to the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling the baseball and working through exchange. Released from a low three-quarters arm slot producing softer carry across the infield and 72 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, even stance and simple front side trigger. Stays low throughout swing and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Controlled the barrel well throughout the zone and utilized a line drive barrel plane through extension. Consistently barrel the baseball throughout with the developing feel to work to each gap. Also pitched working exclusively form the stretch. Quick tempo medium leg lift and work to the plate with drop and drive actions. Shorter arm circle at take back and released from a compact three-quarters arm slot. Looked to attacked the strike zone with a 4-seam fastball that topped at 73 miles per hour. Curveball had 10/5 shape with loose spin and some depth. Maintained arm speed very well with a changeup offering that flashed good sink to the bottom of the zone in the mid 60's. Consistently located to the bottom quadrants of the zone inducing quick, weak contact while on the mound. Excellent student as well.
