Matt Komaroski is a 2020 1B/LHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Jacksonville Beach, FL who attends Episcopal HS. Recorded an 8.02 second 60-yard dash time. Tall and projectable frame with long limbs and room to fill out. Primary first baseman with a longer arm stroke and good balance. Deeper funnel with a compact exchange and three-quarters arm slot. Arm strength recorded up to 76 mph across the infield with accurate throws. Secondary lefthanded pitcher who throws exclusively from the stretch. Long and loose arm stroke from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Tall at the gather point with a low effort delivery. Curveball with 2/8 shape and very good feel for it. Fastball gets some good movement to the glove side. Righthanded hitter with a wide stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Upper half dominant swing with some loft to the swing. Small weight transfer and creates leverage at the point of extension. Hand quickness is there and swing could be more efficient with more direct tweaks to the path. Good student.
