Carson Howard is a 2021 RHP/SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Pike Road, AL who attends St. James. Ran a 7.08-second sixty-yard dash. Infielder that has a medium frame and stocky build. Sits back to field, moving through the ball well with a clean funnel out front and good transfer to throw. Showcases clean mechanics through the entire fielding process. Has good arm strength, making accurate throws across the infield at 89 miles per hour. Switch hitter that starts from an upright and even base, showcasing some smoothness to the swing with present feel and control of the barrel as well. Finds the barrel with consistency at the plate, doing well to get extended and generating good line drives. Has graded out well on the mound in past events, though he did not pitch at the 2020 Sunshine Gulf Coast Showcase. Verbal commitment to North Alabama.
