2020 PG Underclass All American Games
Manuel Beltre is a 2022 SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He showed good speed with a 6.98 second sixty. A primary shortstop with a medium athletic frame, still has room to fill moving forward. On the infield he showed smooth actions throughout the process, he does a nice job carrying his momentum into the throws, his hands work quick with a clean transfer and he gets rid of the ball quick with some whip in the arm action, the athleticism standout defensively in game with acrobatic plays moving in each direction. At the plate he starts with a wider base, he showed a short leg lift working from the ground up in the swing, he keeps his chest behind the ball at contact with intent as the barrel comes through the zone, recorded a 90 mph exit velocity. Named to the 2020 PG Underclass All American Games Top prospect List. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Florida International University.
