Dalton Wallis is a 2021 C/RHP/1B with a 5-8 185 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Community Christian HS. Large and sturdy frame. Ran a 7.96 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up in a higher set position, comes out of crouch with developing footwork at release, will improve arm strength with refinement to follow through, flashes a quick release with carry to throws, accurate with throws, 2.07 second best pop time. Secondary righthanded pitcher, sets up on the first base side of the rubber, starts windup with a side step up to a high leg lift, takes arm back to a full arm action up to a side arm slot, fastball topped out at 70 mph. Also took reps in the infield, rounds the ball taking short step to it, shuffles into throws with a high release point, developing arm strength currently. Righthanded hitter, rotational and consistent swing, swings with intent to drive, will improve pop off of the barrel with additional weight shifted into contact. Good student.
