Brock Hathaway is a 2018 RHP with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Ingraham HS. Big and strong athletic build, pretty mature physically. Compact arm action in back with good extension out front, 3/4's arm slot coming through, some energy on release, maintains direction to the plate well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight with occasional glove side cutting action. Showed good feel for his secondary pitches, change up gets heavy fading action at times, curveball has 11/5 shape. Strike thrower who competes and makes hitters swing the bats. Didn't take BP but looked good at the plate in games, showed good timing in his load and swing and made solid game contact with some jump off the barrel, has the strength to hit. Good student.
