Colyn Rubio is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Sunset Senior HS. Recorded a 7.01 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic build and frame with lots of room to fill. Primary outfielder and fields out in front with two hands. Ball comes out cleanly and moves well through the ball. Arm strength recorded up to 81 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short, compact delivery. Lower arm slot and creates good arm side run on the fastball. Short arm circle and gets good extension at release. Sweeping 11/5 breaking ball that worked best as a chase pitch. Righthanded hitter with a narrow base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Downward swing plane with an inside hand path to contact. Consistent and worked to the pull side often. Good student.
