Giovanni Crow is a 2023 C/MIF with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from San Pedro, CA who attends San Pedro. Shorter muscular build with present strength, posted a 7.64 60 time. Primary catcher, flexible lower half with an athletic set-up. Great footwork, gains ground with some arm strength. Quick arm works well, ball carries with some accurate throws. Clean lateral movement in the infield, low base and plays through the ball. Arm works a bit longer with an uphill release but showed ability to make the throw across from different angles. Right handed hitter, looks to lift the ball staying compact through contact with good extension. Gains good ground running into contact and aggressive upper half torque. Named to 2021 California Workout Camp Session 3 Top Prospect List.
