Ryan Iveson is a 2024 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Costa Mesa, CA who attends Mater Dei. Extra-large frame with a very lean build and great room to fill out. Ran a 7.39 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, shows good tempo to his delivery, stays short to release and throws with minimal effort working to the bottom half of the zone, stays on line and generates some run to the fastball and shows feel for both a slurve-shaped breaking ball and a changeup that he maintains arm speed on well. Also worked out at first base, shows sound footwork in his approach, fields it cleanly out front and turns well into a clean release while showing good arm strength across. Left-handed hitter, works longer through the zone on a level swing plane, occasionally dips his back half to get the ball in the air and shows some impact strength that generates well-struck contact to the middle and pull side when squared. Very good student.
