Ethan Strojie is a 2023 C/1B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Lake Mary, FL who attends Lake Mary. Medium, broad shouldered build with present strength throughout frame. Ran an 8.17 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives the ball out front, shows quickness to footwork coming out of crouch and gains some ground, tends to get tall at release and can continue to refine moving forward, shows accuracy down to second base with developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter, begins with a closed stance and a high hand set with a turned in front shoulder. Wrap at start, long swing path through the zone and looks to get extended at point of contact, creates line drive contact off of the barrel when squared, can implement additional lower half into swing. Excellent student.
