Spencer Stephens is a 2024 1B/LHP with a 6-3 225 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends The Bolles. A larger frame and bigger build with some physicality showing. Strength present. Ran an 8.25 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman who threw from a lower slot and was able to keep things on target. Fields it up the middle with a two-hand smother. Soft hands as he fields it, with feel for the bag and range moving around it. Threw 79 mph during his round of defensive reps at first. A left-handed hitter with a physical presence in the box. Calm swing with controlled actions. Very strong with the ability to get the barrel through and drive it hard. Produced a 91 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Exceptional student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
