2017 PG Underclass All American Games
Will Spears is a 2019 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from New Orleans, LA who attends St. Augustine HS. Medium athletic build, square shoulders, plenty of room to get stronger. 7.17 runner at the PG Junior National Showcase, moves well on defense and stays low to and through the ball, very good arm strength at third base, gets lots of carry across the diamond, accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base, mid field to opposite field orientation, looks to work the right centerfield gap, will lean into the plate at times and leave himself vulnerable on the inside half, has quick hands and some strength at contact, ball carries off the barrel, has the hitting tools to continue to improve. Good student.
