Rich Petrosa is a 2024 C/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Strong physical build with room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance with a high back elbow load, back elbow doesn't always get down into slot on time, has good strength in his swing and gets carry to the pull side and mid field, has some projection as a hitter. 7.35 runner in the sixty. Has good quickness behind the plate, comes out of his crouch well, nice exchange with a lower release that works for him, makes on line accurate throws. Also played the outfield with good athleticism and an accurate arm. Good athlete with some present strength.
