Dalton Kuhn is a 2022 C/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lawton Chiles. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.42 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate, receives the ball out front, quick tempo with moving pieces through release, does come through the ball well and works on top of throws, shows carry with accuracy and arm strength down to second base, 1.99 best pop time. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide and slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box; utilizes a short stride moving into contact. Keeps hands inside the baseball with a linear path, does a nice job of getting the barrel out front. Shows a feel for the barrel and mechanics project well, can continue to incorporate additional weight shift through point of contact. Very good student.
