Jacob Riegel is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Palm Harbor University School. Recorded a 6.94 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with a high waist and lots of room to add strength. Primary shortstop with a short arm action and a lower arm slot. Deliberate actions with accuracy across and throws recorded up to 84 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a long arm swing and a high leg lift. Low three-quarters arm slot with a side step into a leg lift at the belt. Sweeping slider that is tunneled out of the same slot. Solid two pitch mix. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance, wide base, and relaxed start. Longer stroke with an inside hand path to contact. Shows strength off the barrel when extended. Tremendous student.
