Cam Ryan is a 2021 2B/3B/OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Somerset, KY who attends Somerset HS. Young, athletic frame with slender present build; good projection remaining moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.42 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based stance, slightly hunched forward, arches hands back into load, leg lift trigger, barrel flattens back onto line drive swing plane. Shows quickness to hands, middle-field line drive approach, could shift better in lower half, does a very good job of making consistent contact up the middle, went to all fields as well. Worked out in the infield, solid footwork and overall movements to the ball, fields relatively cleanly and does work through the ball, short overtop arm action with quickness to release, clocked up to 71 mph across the diamond. Very good student.
