Seth Sherman is a 2021 OF/RHP/IF with a 6-0 167 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Freedom. Long and slender young build, lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a short inside swing path and a line drive swing plane, has some hand speed and quickness, good extension out front, has a good fundamental swing and his raw bat speed will continue to improve in proportion to how much stronger he gets. 7.14 runner in the sixty. Shows athleticism in the outfield with sound lower half actions through the ball, long and deep arm action in back with a high slot out front to stay on top of the ball. Also pitched, low effort upper body delivery, stays tall through release. Threw consistent strikes with a mid-70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight. Flashed a nice knuckleball that he could have thrown more, rare curveball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
